Ft. Flagler and, due to ferry issues, Ft. Worden June 2008 : Terry and I spent another awesome weekend in Ft. Flagler. The werather was BEAUTIFUL!!! and we were able to take guided tours of the gun batteries and the hospital which they are in the process of restoring. It was an amazing literary weekend and will most certianly be repeated! We ended up being on a MUCH later ferry than we intended, so we we also did a brief tour of Ft. Worden whilst we were there.

Terry and I spent another awesome weekend in Ft. Flagler. Ft. Flagler Weekend Getaway! : Terry and I spent a wonderful weekend at Ft. Flagler National Park. We stayed at the NCO house South (duplex) which was built in 1903 and still had it's original tin plated ceilings! It was fabulous, even though the weather was crummy. We both agreed that it felt like more than a weekend vacation.
